As we saw during the XXV Winter Olympics, the Dolomites and Northeast of Italy is one of the most beautiful and unique regions of the world. From the foothills of the Alps and Adige River in ancient Verona to the pink peaks of Sud Tirol, this area is full of beautiful valleys, lakes and villages to explore. It’s one of my favorite areas – a region I’ve known for almost fifty years!
